Welcome to **MAJIRO**, our family beach house at Km 13.5 on the Chicxulub–Uaymitún road. More than a rental property, MAJIRO is a very personal home that our family enjoys every summer. Over the years, we have continued improving and upgrading the house to make it more comfortable, beautiful, and enjoyable for everyone who stays here. The house has recently been renovated and features **six bedrooms with ocean views**, including three newly remodeled rooms on the third floor, as well as two service rooms, a swimming pool, a spacious fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of areas to gather, cook, celebrate, or simply relax. At the entrance of the property, our caretaker lives on-site and keeps an eye on the house. He is also available if you need any assistance during your stay. The property includes covered private parking for three cars and several open areas and pathways where you can walk and enjoy the surroundings. One of the things that makes MAJIRO truly special is its beachfront. There are very few places left along this coast where you can still enjoy such a beautiful combination of **ocean breeze, sand, open space, and privacy**. In the evenings, the lighting throughout the property creates a warm and charming atmosphere, making the house a wonderful place to enjoy long afternoons and nights with family and friends. The decoration also tells the story of our family. You will find pieces made by our children and grandchildren using shells collected on this very beach, hand-stitched cross-stitch artwork made by their grandmother, and even drawings of the house given to us by previous guests. Every corner has a small story behind it, and that is something we love about MAJIRO. The property has a large cistern that can be supplied by water truck to ensure a reliable fresh-water supply. To help conserve fresh water, some bathroom services use well or salt water. The house also has a **solar energy system**, part of our effort to make the property more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
